Strength & Conditioning Background
I was first introduced to strength training in my high school weights class. From there, I pursued a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Hawai’i, where I had the privilege of interning with one of Hawai’i’s top strength and conditioning coaches. That eye-opening experience exposed me to high-level athletic development and inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at San José State University. While completing my master’s, I was fortunate to earn an internship with Stanford Football Sports Performance, my most profound learning experience to date.
After graduate school, I started my own sports performance training business out of my parents’ garage in California. After a few failed attempts and plenty of lessons learned, I successfully opened my own gym, where I had the privilege of training more than 100 athletes, from youth to professional across a wide range of sports.

Like many strength coaches before me, I grew up as a hyper-competitive athlete always looking for an edge, chasing every opportunity to get better and reach the next level. That drive led to early mornings, late nights, and long summers of training. While I didn’t make it to the next level as an athlete, through that relentless pursuit of improvement, I fell in love with training itself.
So much so that I went on to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in exercise science and sought out every hands-on opportunity to learn how the best athletes train.

Two degrees and a couple of internships later, I was hooked. I became fascinated by the science and drawn to the art of coaching. I learned quickly that textbooks don’t make you a good coach. There is an art to building relationships, especially when you’re asking people to do hard things. I love being part of that journey with my clients and athletes. It’s long, it’s not always pretty, but it’s real, and it means something.

I’m driven by the challenge of helping athletes discover what they’re truly capable of. Every day, I get to blend science with human connection, pushing limits, building confidence, delivering results, and finding growth through the work. That’s what keeps me coming back, and it’s why I love what I do. My mission is your success, because when you win, we both win!

Favorite Ways to Move

Training is still a huge part of my life. I believe in practicing what I preach and testing everything on myself first. I’ve recently developed a passion for Olympic weightlifting, and when I’m not in the gym, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, or playing pickup basketball and soccer.

Favorite Activity/Hobby Out of the Gym

I love getting outdoors, camping, fishing, and exploring whenever I can. I also enjoy quieter moments spent reading, learning to play chess, and discovering the best local food spots.

Don’t leave it to chance.
